Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize hands-on experience in creating new flight bookings on Sabre and other booking systems (e.g., airline portals like NDC and consolidators), demonstrating adaptability to diverse platforms and proficiency in securing optimal fares and itineraries.
  • Employ expert geographical knowledge to identify cost-effective airfares and leverage tools such as Bargain Finder for optimal results.
  • Execute manual reissues and manage refund procedures with precision, ensuring compliance with airline policies and industry standards.
  • Demonstrate exceptional typing speed and communication skills to assist customers via online chat, providing timely and accurate support.
  • Proactively manage queues, liaise with airlines, and coordinate schedule changes to optimize travel arrangements for clients.
  • Navigate between different Passenger Name Record (PNR) Control Centers (PCCs) seamlessly to accommodate varied client needs and preferences.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of ticketing procedures, including adding promo, tour, and account codes, ensuring correct commission levels, and following ticketing instructions meticulously.
  • Utilize a customer-oriented approach to create offline bookings and follow up with passengers for confirmation.
  • Investigate and mitigate fraudulent bookings, ensuring the integrity of transactions and protecting the interests of both clients and the company.
  • Facilitate the addition of ancillary services to bookings, such as extra baggage, meal and seat requests, insurance, and manage procedures for airline name corrections and adding infants to bookings.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in ticketing and fare construction within the travel industry.
  • Proficiency in Sabre, Bargain Finder, and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong understanding of airline operations, geographical nuances, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills for efficient customer support via online chat, email, and phone.
  • Proven ability to manage queues, liaise with airlines, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Previous experience working with online travel agencies and diverse airline portals is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate between different PCCs and manage ticketing procedures with precision.
  • Exemplary customer-oriented approach to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Knowledge of fraud investigation procedures and expertise in managing additional services for bookings.
  • Great attention to detail.
